Jacob Ackerman joined Jarrett in December 2015 and was promoted five times before moving into his current role as Director, Contracts, Analytics and Intelligence in 2022. He is responsible for managing the LTL Carrier relationships, LTL pricing, purchasing and analysis, auditing functions, claims processing and business intelligence reporting.
Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Ashland University.
Jacob and his wife, Merry, have two children, Hazel, and Otto, who enjoy swinging from the treehouse they built and ziplining in the backyard. Jacob loves spending time with family and also enjoys birdwatching, bee-keeping, playing sports, visiting National Parks and always learning something new. He is an active member of the Oaks Church in Wooster.
