Jarrett Logistics Systems, Inc., (JLS) is a company that specializes in transportation management services for manufacturing companies, wholesalers and distributors who ship or receive product from all over the world. As the global economy has been the center of attention in recent years, controlling every aspect of your business has become more important than ever. Through our centralized Routing Center, JLS allows our customers to gain more control over their supply chain, become more cost effective and increase efficiencies. At JLS, our customers are assigned a dedicated Logistics Coordinator as well as a Customer Account Team (CAT) who knows and understands the customer’s business requirements. All suppliers must also contact the JLS Routing Center for routing instructions. This allows JLS the ability to route all shipments on the appropriate carrier, based on shipment characteristics (location, weight, size and cost) and so customers are not incurring any unnecessary freight charges. Our customers may contact the Routing Center for assistance on outbound orders, access our online order entry system or receive a Routing Guide and continue to work directly with the carriers. JLS also manages freight bill audit and payment services, carrier performance, reporting and more. Our proprietary software allows our customers to access information online in order to manage their day to day shipments (order entry, quotes, tracking, and reporting).

MICHAEL JARRETT
President
Mr. Jarrett was formerly the Vice President of Carrier Operations for Hudson, Ohio-based Caliber Logistics (now known as FedEx Supply Chain Services). Mr. Jarrett founded Jarrett Logistics Systems, Inc. (JLS) in 1999 and brings an extensive background in transportation management. He joined Caliber Logistics in 1991 after spending two years as a supervisor for Roadway Express - and he was instrumental in initiating Caliber's first centralized transportation management operation. During his eight-year tenure with Caliber, he managed multiple routing center operations, directed the implementation of new accounts and was responsible for negotiating carrier contracts.
Mr. Jarrett views business ethics, employee character and operational efficiency as keys to success for Jarrett Logistics Systems. Mr. Jarrett has been recognized for numerous awards for growth of his company, including: Inc 500, Entrepreneur Magazine, Weatherhead 100, and Cascade Capital. Mr. Jarrett plans to maintain a high growth mode for Jarrett Logistics Systems by continuing to invest heavily in two key areas: integrity-based, skilled people and leading edge supply chain technology.
MATT ANGELL
Vice President, Logistics Operations
Mr. Angell joined the company in 2008. His role with Jarrett Logistics Systems ensures that business operations are both efficient and effective. Matt is also responsible for the smooth and successful implementation of new accounts, as well as for the successful management of all existing accounts. Previously, Mr. Angell was an Executive VP with Miller Logistics, an Iowa based 3PL.
STEVEN DOTTERER
CPA, Director of Finance & Administration
Mr. Dotterer joined the company in 2006. Currently, he is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting department. He also oversees the administration of human resources, and he is involved in maintaining the IT network. Previously, he spent 10 years as the Controller for McIlvaine Trucking, a Wooster, Ohio-based trucking company specializing in hazardous bulk liquid transportation. There he was responsible for the consolidated financial and tax reporting of multiple entities, upgrading and maintaining the IT network and managing the day to day activities of the accounting department. Prior to joining McIlvaine Trucking, he was employed as a staff accountant where he prepared individual and corporate tax returns as well as compiled and reviewed financial statements.
MATT TARUTANI
Manager of Systems, Procedures and Procurement
Mr Tarutani joined the company in 2002 as an Operations Coordinator. In his current role, he is responsible for the system and training and procedures for the operations, and handling procurement for the company's contracted carriers. Prior to joining the company, Matt held Manufacturing positions with Merillat Industries & Bell and Howell in the Wooster, Ohio area. He also spent nine (9) years with the Air Force in Logistics Operations & Acquisition.
MIKE FRANK

Mr. Frank joined the company in 2009. He assists prospective clients in streamlining their supply chain while improving efficiencies in their transportation processes.
